Agence NEWTON, as we know it was created in 2014, although some of us have been working in French Real Estate since as far back as 1986 !
Meet the Team...
Our team
Director and co-founder.
Dan NEWTON arrived in Central Brittany back in 1986 and has spent pretty well all his life here working in the real estate business. He was the first British subject to get a full real estate license in Brittany and is one of the few in France to still hold one.
Having supervised literally hundreds of sales in his career, from small cottages for renovation through to manor houses and chateaux, his knowledge of the French Expat market is massive.
He now spends his time between his home in Central Brittany and his house in Dordogne, as well as travelling around the rest of Western France.

Regional manager
Based to the East of Pontivy in the heart of Brittany
Having moved to France around 30 years ago, Yvonne, who is from an administration background, bought a farmhouse with gites in the northern part of the Dordogne. Often having people staying there looking for properties, she became familiar not only with the process of buying but with the language. After 10 years or so, she decided to try out a different part of France and moved to central Brittany where she bought a bar making lots of great friends both French and English. When the bar was sold, she bought a house in the next village, where she has now lived happily for 15 years and likes to take part in local events.
She started working as an Agent Commerciale in 2009 and became part of the Agence Newton family in 2019 and is now Regional Manager for the Brittany team.

Commercial Agent, based near Rostrenen, Cotes d'Armor in Brittany
I have worked with Agence Newton estate agency since June 2020. I live in-between the towns of Carhaix-Plougher in department 29 of Finistère and Rostrenen in department 22 of Côtes-d'Armor. We bought our property in 2016 and moved over here permanently with my husband and our 12-year-old daughter in 2017.
I studied photography at University and worked as a therapist for 20 years and I feel both of these skills have helped me in my work to become an estate agent.
The area I cover has so many things to explore such as the vast countryside which has lots of forestry walks, the Nantes-Brest canal and there are a number of lakes situated in our region. It takes about an hour to reach the North, South or West coast and the coastline around Brittany is just magical.

Tracey has lived in Brittany France since 2007. After having children, she knew that trying to raise her two children without working wouldn’t be possible in the UK. So after the birth of their second child, they decided to sell up lock, stock and barrel in Yorkshire and give France a go!
It’s been a roller coaster ride, but life is short and it’s good to try something new and completely different!
Her career, initially started out in administration, then progressed to project management and eventually she headed up the Marketing Department in a large blue chip company.
She is very passionate about any role she undertakes, and after living here for over 17 years has also gained a wealth of knowledge. Tracey is happy to help and advise you in your property sale or purchase from start to finish.

Katie moved to Brittany in 2013 and chose Finistere as a place that offered plenty of space, freedom and safety to raise her 3 children. With it's rugged coastline, endless sandy beaches and fabulous countryside it has many resemblances to her native Devon and Cornwall but the housing, unlike the UK, is affordable. Katie joined Agence Newton in 2022 and chose the agency for it's strong team ethos and dedication to clients. With over 20 years in education Katie brings to the role excellent communication and organisational skills as well as a keen eye to detail. She loves the diversity of the role and the good work/life balance it allows her.
Commercial Agent, based in Poursac, near Angouleme in the department of La Charente.
Karen moved to France in 2004 leaving behind a demanding career in the UK to to start an exciting new adventure with her family in the French countryside.
There were pretty villages and beautiful countryside to explore, and new friends to be made. Several years later and finding that she had more time on her hands as her daughter grew up, the lure of being self employed and doing a job that excited her tempted her to take the plunge and became a self employed commercial agent in property sales.
Thirteen years later and with considerable experience, she is delighted to offer you her expertise with your project. Perhaps you wish to sell your French house and move onto to another phase of your life or maybe you are searching for your dream home in France.

I joined the agency in 2020, relocating to Plumieux, a village on the border of Côtes d’Armor and Morbihan in Central Brittany. After a career at sea, I craved a serene environment with a large garden to grow food and attract wildlife, which my role as an estate agent provides.
I assist clients from Europe, the UK, and worldwide in finding their home or project in France, alongside local French clients. With my young family and two dogs, I explore Brittany daily, sharing my discoveries with clients.
Proud to be part of Agence Newton Immobilier, I embrace French language and culture, enjoying the constant surprises each day brings!

Mandy had her house as a holiday home since 2009 and she moved to France permanently in 2020.
The area has a lot of history especially from during the war when there was a lot of resistance cells. It is also known for its porcelain, in Limoges which is the capital of the Haute Vienne, there is a porcelain museum and many factories that provide guided tours.
Also of course there is the route that was taken by Richard the lionheart that can be followed taking you through many towns and villages through the Limousin."

Every house becomes a home that is as unique as the buyers and sellers who spend their time in that house. It’s why Stuart doesn’t believe in one size fits all but uses his experience and skills gained across Europe, the States, and the Middle East to help you secure the outcome you are seeking. Having divided his time between homes in France and the United Kingdom Stuart and his family made the complete leap a few years ago. This places Stuart in a perfect position to understand the excitement and concerns of those who wish to straddle both countries, as well as the thrill and challenges for those who decide to settle permanently.
Agent Commercial
Alison’s first job after leaving college was with an Estate Agency before following a successful commercial career across Europe and the USA.
In 2000 Alison followed her dream of moving to France, fell in love with and made her home in Mont Saint Michel bay, immersed herself in local life and became fluent in the language of her adopted country. She founded what quickly became the “go to” removals company for people relocating to France, partnering this with estate agency work seemed an obvious pairing and proved successful.
In 2015 the retirement of her co-director gave Alison the opportunity to expand her experience further, spending 7 happy years working with a variety of French companies before returning once again to her first love and joining Agence Newton.
Bi-lingual and with a passion for detail nothing makes Alison happier than matching buyers and sellers of property in France and providing an open and honest service to match and go beyond their expectations. It is a pure joy. Happy people in happy places ……….. whats not to like.
